Sassy Girl is different, it has a bit of humor but there is a deeper sense of heart that one feels while watching this film. The acting is pretty good. I dont know if I liked the actor or actress more. I loved the twist, semi-twist, towards the end. I enjoyed this movie and I think Korean cinema has a lot to offer to the world. This was my second Korean film, first being the flabbergasting Oldboy. Watch this.

MBALQ Lee Joon Is Cast In Kim Ki-Duk “Rough Play”

Award-winning director Kim Ki-Duk is in process for filming the sequel of hit movie Rough Cut which was used So Ji-Sub and Kang Ji-Hwan as the lead actors, “Rough Play” (“Baewooneun Baewooda”). This time, Pop Idol Singer from MBLAQ, Lee Joon Suprisingly has been chosen as main actor in the movie. At this point, I am really surprise to know that an internationally-acclaimed such Kim Ki-Duk chooses Lee Joon whom I am familiar with his clumsy character in every variety show. However, I do believe that the actor will give me another side of him trough the movie, let’s see next.

Kim Ki-Duk last project was Pieta which raked awards as the best film at 2012 (4th) KOFRA Film Awards Ceremony and 2012 Korean Association of Film Critics Awards. The director itself won the best director award for the same movie at 2012 Korean Association of Film Critics Awards. For internationally award, Kim Ki-Duk had been success to bring Golden Lion for Best Film (“Pieta”) at 2012 (69th) Venice Film Festival.

Besides Lee Joon, Seo Yeong-Hee, Yang Dong-Geun, and Kim Hyun-Joon are also cast in the movie. ROUGH PLAY (“Baewooneun Baewooda”) will depict the story of the rise and fall of a popular young actor. The movie will release sometime in 2013.

Meanwhile, Lee Joon is now busy with shooting his current drama IRIS 2.
