HaJiWon LeeSeungGI Lee Seung Gi to Romance Ha Ji Won for Next Drama The King

It’s been officially confirmed that Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi will get together as a couple for the upcoming fusion drama ‘The King’, a new drama that comes from the “Beethoven Virus” team (PD Lee Jae Kyu and writers Hong Jin Ah and Jong Ja Ram).

The drama revolves around a fictional modern-day where South Korea is governed by a constitutional monarchy. Lee plays the crown prince who looks perfect in outside but he’s actually a horribly spoiled and materialistic. He somehow ends up marrying a legendary North Korean special agent (played by Ha) and begins their unlikely romance with prejudices about each other, but later come to fall in love.

The King’ will follow the currently-airing hit sageuk romance ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’.

DreamHigh 2ndSeason 5 Minutes Trailer for Dream High 2

The highly-anticipated youth drama ‘Dream High 2’ has recently released its third trailer with a much longer duration (4’48”). The trailer highlights the drama’s theme as it deals with a competition between the already-popular idol students and two “underdog” students who dream of becoming idol stars.

Dream High 2’ starring Kang So Ra, 2AM’s Jinwoon, SISTAR’s Hyorin, T-ara’s Jiyeon, JB, and Park Seo Joon is scheduled to release on January 30.

MoonSun trailer The Moon that Embraces the Sun Dominated the Night with 29.3% Rating

MBC’s sageuk fusion drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’ keeps showing the rise in rating, affirming the domination at the Wednesday-Thursday nights. Kicking off with a solid entrance (18.8%), the drama’s been reaching to 29.3% rating at the sixth episode.

On the sixth episode, the adult actors, Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, and Han Ga In made their grand appearance. The episode showed the young King Lee Hwon’s suffer from a loss of his first love, Yeon Woo. He still refused to share room with his Queen and mocked her as well.  At the end of the episode, Han appeared as Yeon Woo, who lost her memory as a noble’s daughter and now lives as a female shaman named Wol.

Meanwhile, the two drama competitors that aired in the same timeslot, SBS’s ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’ and KBS’s ‘Wild Romance’, rated 9.4% and 6.4% respectively.
