The Ratings of ‘Coffee House’ Keep Lower
The SBS current drama ‘Coffee House’ has dropped its ratings for the 3rd episode which aired on May 24. The drama starring by Kang Ji Hwan and Park Si Yeon just recorded 9,0% of viewership ratings, according to research firm AGB Nielsen Media Research.
It means that the ratings keep lower each episode. Although, the first episode has made success to reach double-digit rating record for 10,1%, but for each next episodes seem hard to regain it. The ratings of second episode has down 0,3% to 9,8%.
It makes me wonder why it could be happened, since ‘Coffee House’ is the most popular Korean drama in May with its romantic comedy genre. People has expected the drama will be as successful as ‘Full House’ (‘Coffee House’ is anticipated as the second ‘House’ series after ‘Full House’ since it’s directed by the same director, PD Pyon Min Soo). But, I think it will be very hard to regain the success. We could just hope that the PD can make it through for the next episodes.

Coffee houses ratings are probably falling because no one is 100% sure who is ment to end up with who…I know thats why I hardly want to watch it anymore. Plus the secretary is just plain annoying.

i tot agree with byul..i hope the man lead(KJH) will be end up with the secretary(eunjung)..i think the writer get viewers wrong, because all of the synopsis in all source say that PSY is the female lead, and eunjung just only second female..but in the drama(i saw ep 6 already),its far from the synopsis.maybe KJH was loving PSY at first, but at the end he will end up with eunjung, dunno yet.but they show eunjung way more than PSY tough, and eunjung’s charachter is too much typical K-drama female lead.

The 2 ladies are not suitable for the writer Lee Jin Soo. The chief’s acting seems so fake and forced and I don’t like her style. (Still think the best love for my man KJH is Sung Yuri but that’s another thing). The secretary is ridiculous but I’m watching her. Her acting isn’t good, but it’s refreshing. Story will be most predictable if the pretty capable chief ends up with handsome talented writer. There’s actually nothing to watch. I’m actually quite bored so far and the fake and real kisses between chief and writer are so boring. Why am I watching – for my man Kang JH of course. He’s acting is superbly PRO as his character says.
I’m for the underdog. Yes the bumbling secretary. She must transform – looks and talents – and become the love of the writer. Then we have more of a story here.
