‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ Adds Seo Hye Rim to Its Cast

The historical romantic comedy Korean drama ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ has added the bright Korean actress Seo Hye Rim to its cast. She formerly was considered to play the female lead role back earlier casting days. But, Park Min Young has been recently chosen instead, after Korean actress Jung Da Young signed off from the project.

Seo will play an elegant girl named Ha Hyo Eun, the daughter of a prominent government minister. But the contrary with her elegant appearance, she has a superficial intelligence and cheap way of speaking, which make everyone who meets her couldn’t forget her. Her marriage has been arranged with the young nobleman played by Micky Yoochun. So, she will form likely a love triangle with Micky and Park Min Young.

Seo just began her debut acting in 2007 by playing a supporting roles in 2 KBS2’s dramas ‘When Spring Comes’ and ‘Insoon is Pretty’. Then, her name started to be known for her role in KBS2’s romance Korean drama ‘The World They Live In’ (2008) as a sprightly young actress. Due to her bright-look, she has raised her profiles through numerous CFs. Seo is currently acting in the KBS daily drama ‘Good Day for the Wind to Blow’ and is the host of the variety program Music Bank.

‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’ is aimed to broadcast in September.
