Korean heartthrob Song Seung Hun and idol-singer-actor JYJ’s Jaejoong have been recently creating a buzz as the two good-looking have confirmed to share screen together in the upcoming fantasy-medical-sageuk drama ‘Dr. Jin’.

Song takes the lead role as a genius brain doctor named Jin Hyuk who travels back 150 years to Joseon-era where the medical technology has yet to develop. As a doctor, he begins to treat people in that time while he’s also struggling to find a way to come back to the future. Meanwhile, Jaejoong is set to play the role of Kim Kyung Tak, an excellent Joseon military official with high martial arts skill who later becomes Dr. Jin’s rival. He’s competitive and prideful, but he also has the softest heart as he only devotes his love to one woman whom he’s known from his youth.

Dr. Jin’ is an adaptation from Japanese manga called ‘JIN’ that previously inspired the Japanese series under the same name. The series even had two seasons that aired in 2009 and 2011, and both made a big hit in rating and popularity.

    It sounds really interesting! I saw the Japanese version and it was really good so I can’t wait to see this version!! Plus Jaejoong playing a military official will good martial arts skills? I can’t wait!! :D
