Rain May Star in Remake Movie ‘Red Scarf’

Multi-talented Asian star Rain is currently busy filming his upcoming romantic-comedy action ‘Runaway’ which leads him to go overseas. However, in the middle his tight schedule, he is recently buzzed that he is highly likely to play the main role in a movie remake of ‘Red Scarf’ which was first released in 1964. Although, the details have yet to be set but the possibility of Rain’s participation is very high.

Actually, Rain has received a notice to enlist in the military on September 28 of this year. But he is expected to be able to postpone the date since he is also currently obtaining his master’s degree. If he can defer it, that means we can see him in local big screen once more before his enlistment.

The original ‘Red Scarf’ was directed by late director Shin Sang Ok and told about how an Air Force pilot becomes a true soldier. The remake version will tell of the life and comradeship of various soldiers and be produced jointly by Jang Tae Gon, producer of the original movie, and CJ Entertainment.
