Park Hae Mi Joins in Kwon Sang Woo’s New Drama ‘Dae Mul’
Korean actress Park Hae Mi has been added to the cast list of an upcoming Korean drama ‘Dae Mul’ aka ‘Big Fish’ in which pairs two top Korean stars Kwon Sang Woo and Ko Hyun Jung. The drama will be Park’s second appearance in 2010 after her role in romantic comedy Korean drama ‘Personal Taste’ aka ‘Personal Preference’ which aired on March until May 2010.
In ‘Dae Mul’ based on manhwa (Korean comic) written by Park In Won, Park plays the role of woman politician who has a strong and charismatic figure. The drama initially tells about a human rights lawyer named Seo Hye Rim (played by Ko) who dreams to be the first woman president of Korea. To gain her goal, she is helped by Kwon’s character who is a first-class gigolo.
Park made her debut acting by playing in SBS’s TV series ‘Dear Heaven’ in 2005. Since then, she has appeared in several Korean dramas and a Korean movie. In addition of ‘Personal Preference’, we also watched her in ‘Everybody Cha Cha Cha’ (KBS, 2009) and ‘My Precious Child’ (KBS2, 2008). Last year, she made her debut film in ‘Sarah and Rami’
The drama originally was scheduled to air in 2008 but was put on hold after budget constraints and filming locations. Now, the drama has gotten a concrete spot on the broadcast schedule, and is scheduled to start airing on October 6th, 2010 through SBS.
