Lee Sun Gyun’s New Flick “Oki’s Movie” to Release September 16

The upcoming Korean movie ‘Oki’s Movie’ directed by Korean filmmaker Hong Sang Hoo has had its local release date, September 16. The movie stars Lee Sun Gyun (Pasta), Jung Yoo Mi (My Dear Desperado), and Mun Seong Kun (A Little Pond).

‘Oki’s Movie’ centers around a film major student named Oki (played by Jung) who made a movie in which shows her experience relationships with two different men in different spaces. The movie she made was taken when she went to the mountain with both of these men, a year apart. We are able to see their different activities which they did at the parking lot, entrance of the mountain, in front of the gazebo, bathroom, in front of a wooden bridge, and halfway up the mountain.

Before its local release, the movie will make its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival as the closing film for the Horizons (Orizzonti) section which will be held in Venice in from September 1 to 11.
