Lee Shi Yong as Jung So Min’s Love Rival in ‘Playful Kiss’

Korean actress Lee Si Young of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and ‘The Birth of The Rich’ has been confirmed to join in upcoming romantic-comedy Korean drama ‘Playful Kiss’ aka ‘Mischievous Kiss’. She portrays a character which Matsumoto Reiko did in the Japanese version, ‘Itazura na Kiss’.

Lee’s character named Yun He Ra is the biggest love rival of Oh Ha Ni (played Jung So Min). She is the vice president of the school’s tennis club where she meets Bae Seung Jo (Kim Hyun Joong). She has beauty and intellectual which Ha Ni doesn’t have. Therefore, the drama’s crew stated that her appearance will definitely add the love tension in the drama.

Lee started her debut in 2009 by playing in several Korean dramas and movies, including her notable works in ‘Boys Over Flowers’, ‘The Birth of The Rich’, and ‘The Descendants of Hong Gil Dong’.

‘Playful Kiss’ is set to premiere on September 1st, following Korean War drama ‘Road No.1’.
