‘King of Baker, Kim Tak Goo’ Widened Its Lead Rating
It’s always interesting to look at how the battle goes up on Wednesday-Thursday’s dramas. As we know, 3 expected Korean drama air in the same time slot. Those dramas are ‘King of Baker, Kim Tak Goo’ (KBS2), ‘Road No.1’ (MBC), and ‘Bad Guy’ (SBS).
Looks like the World Cup really gives a big impact to a number of SBS’s dramas. Besides, the air time of dramas must be postponed, it’s effected the drama’s ratings keep lower. As well as what is happened to ‘Bad Guy’ starring Kim Nam Gil, Han Ga In, and Kim Jae Wook, after 2 weeks off the air, the ratings down drastically from 15% to 5,6% for its 6th episode.
The same thing is occurred to MBC’s war Korean drama ‘Road No.1’ starring So Ji Sub, Kim Ha Neul, Yoon Kye Sang, which also lost viewers in its second week. The ratings is down from 9% to 7,2%. Although, the drama had team up a number of brilliant actors, but I still wonder why the drama still can’t attract more audiences. I was thinking that may be it’s because of its lack of war effect, which causes the drama didn’t meet the expectation of viewers. But, I still put a big hope for its next episode.
While the ratings of two dramas have gone down, KBS2’s baking Korean drama ‘King of Baker, Kim Tak Goo’ widened its lead with a 31% rating. Actually, I didn’t expect this drama in the first place. Against two dramas which have strong actors, I thought the drama in which put a rookie actor Yoon Shin Yoon, had a big difficulty to emulate other those dramas. However, it’s totally wrong, because it leads far away now due to its solid story line.
