Kim So Yeon & Kim Seung Woo to Star in ‘Athena’

Haven’t been enough with top star lineup, ‘Athena: Goddess of War’, has recently announced that two IRIS‘s stars Kim So Yeon and Kim Seung Woo have been added to its cast. They will take the same role as they did in the original (IRIS), the North Korean agents Kim Sun Hwa and Park Chul Young.

(I don’t get it because the drama’s official stated previously that ‘Athena’ is only the spinoff of IRIS, not the sequel, so there will no connection story. But, both stars are reported to appear in ‘Athena’, moreover for the same role.)

According to the drama’s production company Taewon Entertainment, Kim Seung Woo’s appearance has been finalized, but Kim So Yeon’s role is still in discussion. I’m not sure that she will appear on drama, because she has already signed on for her next project, ‘Dr. Champ’, and she is currently busy filming that drama.
