Kim Ah Joong Joins U.S-Chinese Film Project ‘Amazing’

Korean actress Kim Ah Joong of ‘200 Pounds Beauty’ is currently in China to filming her next project, a joint U.S. and Chinese film project entitled ‘Amazing’ in which Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming of ‘The Return of the Condor Heroes’ and American actor Eric Mabius of ‘Ugly Betty’ also stars.

In the movie which boasts a budget of 20 billion won (17 million USD), Kim portrays a love interest to Huang’s character who is the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of the world’s top internet game development company which is developing a basketball virutal-reality internet game. Therefore, the appearances of real NBA basketball stars, including Yao Ming and Magic Johnson, is expected in this movie.

This sports adventure movie will take us to tour between a real-world and virtual-world and will be helmed by PD Sherwood Hu of ‘Prince of the Himalayas’. The movie started its filming on the August 15 and is aiming to premiere in the first half of 2011.
