Jung So Min Pairs Kim Hyun Joong in Romantic Comedy Korean Drama ‘Playful Kiss’

After many Korean actress’s names were rumoured to cast for the female lead of the romantic comedy Korean drama ‘Playful Kiss’, new Korean actress Jung So Min’s name has been out to cast for the lead role opposite a popular Korean actor Kim Hyun Joong, according to Group Eight on July 16th.

Jung was personally chosen by PD Hwang In Roe after he was impressed for Jung’s role in the currently airing Korean drama ‘Bad Guy’, which is Jung’s debut acting. PD Hwang expressed, “Although Oh Hani (female character name) hasn’t received assurance of love from the man she has kept in her heart, she is a girl that is always smiling and happy. Therefore, her smiling face is very important. When I saw Jung So Min’s big smile, I was certain that she was the one.”

‘Playful Kiss’ will start filming soon and it is scheduled to broadcast from September 1st, following the currently Korean War drama ‘Road No. 1’.
