Rising actor Jung Il Woo is still on the set of his current cable drama ‘Flower Boy Ramyun Shop’, but he’s already been cast in his next project. He’ll be starring in the upcoming fantasy sageuk romance ‘The Moon Embracing The Sun’ which would allow him to co-work with rising actor Kim Soo Hyun and top actress Han Ga In.
The drama is about a love story between a fictional Joseon king (Kim) and the Crown Princess who’s caught up in unexpected incident that leads her to live as a female shaman now. Jung will be playing the second male lead as Kim’s half-older brother who purposely acts like a frivolous playboy to ensure people to not back him up politically which may bring threat to his younger brother.
‘The Moon Embracing The Sun’ is scheduled to release in January, following ‘Me Too, Flower!’
