Horse-Racing Korean Movie ‘Grand Prix’ Set to September Release
‘Grand Prix’, the horse-racing Korean movie from director Yang Yun Ho of ‘IRIS‘, is set to September release coinciding Chuseok holiday is celebrated in Korea. The movie leads Kim Tae Hee and Yang Dong Kun, who both ever co-work with PD Yang in ‘IRIS’ (KBS2, 2009) and ‘Fighter in the Wind’ (2004).
In the movie, Kim will display quite different image from before. She plays a pro-horse rider named Joo Hee who gives up in riding horse due to her guilt for her horse’s death. To bury her pain, she heads to Jeju Island where she meets a promising horse-rider named Woo Suk who later they falls to each other. He leaves off horse racing world after he lost his best friend in an accident. Finding a lot common with Joo Hee, then he helps her to make a comeback.
