Han Ji Min to Star in Noh Hee Kyung’s Family-Themed Drama

Korean actress Han Ji Min, who last year played alongside top Hallyu star So Ji Sub in Korean drama ‘Cain and Abel’, has confirmed to play the main role in her next project, the upcoming family-themed Korean drama ‘Love, Hurt, and Showers’ (연애, 상처 그리고 소나기), which is the next project for noted screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung.

The drama takes a theme about a family life including love and pain around them. Han portrays the elder of two sister who lives with her mother and grandmother. It sounds pretty simple description, but I hope Noh will be able to deliver a deeper meaning of family life in the drama.

Han made her debut in 2003 for MBC’s Korean drama ‘Good Person’. Since then, she has played in several Korean dramas. In addition to ‘Cain and Abel’, where she played a North Korean refugee, Han’s recent roles include the sageuk drama Yi San and the period project ‘Capital Scandal‘. Meanwhile, Noh recently penned a one-act Korean drama ‘Red Candy’, to kick off the new series Drama Special.

The drama will get a broadcast time slot after its male lead has been chosen.
