Hallyu Stars Team Up in ‘Haru’ to Promote the Korean Tourism
Some Hallyu stars gathered at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan on August 26 for attending the press conference of the Omnimbus drama ‘Haru’ (‘Day’) produced by the Korean National Tourism Organization. They were Yunho, Kim Bum, Big Bang, Han Chae Young, Park Shi Hoo, and Lee Dae Hae who are involved in this project.
The star-studded drama aims to promote the year of visiting Korea. Therefore, the drama’s production will focus to portray Korea’s beauty which will be described in combination of its new convention, beautiful cinematography, and captivating soundtrack.
In ‘Haru’, Yunho is an action star in a play, Kim Bum is a photographer, Lee Dae Hae is a screenwriter, Han Chae Young and Park Shi Hoo play the couple in Lee Da Hae’s sceneario, and Big Bang is a group that finds a school that is being shut down, and holds a mini-concert for the students.
The special drama has totally drawn much attention and is expected to be a hit in Asia since there are many popular stars who have been known in Asia participating in the drama. Yunho has already entered the Asian market through his activities TVXQ, Kim Bum has spread his popularity after his role in smash-hit Korean drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’, Big Bang has been sensational with their album releases in Japan, Han Chae Young has been getting ready for her Hollywood debut, and Lee Dae Hae played the female lead in popular drama ‘Chuno’ which made her popularity steadier.
So far, the filming has taken place at Busan Station, Gwangan Bridge, Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Haerang Train, and Hangan. ‘Haru’ is set to be released in the end of September.
