Ha Ji Won Signs Romance-Fantasy Korean Drama ‘Secret Garden’

Korean actress Ha Ji Won has been announced to join Jang Hyuk’s new romance-fantasy Korean drama ‘Secret Garden’ as female lead. The drama will be Ha’s comeback drama after her last appearance 4 years ago in ‘Hwang Jin Yi’. Besides Jang Hyuk (Chuno, 2010), the drama has been also cast Kim Sa Rang, Yoon Sang Hyun, Philip Lee and Park Jae Bum.

The drama tells about a love story revolving around the game world and reality. Ha’s will portray an easy-going woman named Ra Im. She has a perfect look with S line body shape. She meets fatefully with an arrogant man named Joo Won (played by Jang Hyuk), a chaebol who operates a department store. Their meeting finally changes Joo Won’s character

In the drama, Yoon Sang Hyun from ‘Take Care of The Young Lady‘ plays a washed-up Hallyu star named Oscar. He will form be set into a love triangle relationship among Ha Ji Won and Jang Hyuk. Kim Sa Rang of ‘The King and I’ (SBS, 2007) will play a character named Yoon Seul as a CF Director. Philip Lee of ‘Story of a Man‘ has been cast as a martial arts director. Meanwhile, Jae Bum portrays a new singer named Sun.

‘Secret Garden’ is planned to air in September through SBS following the currently airing family-romance Korean drama ‘Life is Beautiful’.
