Cast Additions for Romantic-Comedy Korean Drama ‘Playful Kiss’

Alright! Here are the many more cast additions for an upcoming romantic-comedy Korean drama ‘Playful Kiss’. After pulling people’s attention out for the rumours of possible cast additions for its main roles and finally it was decided Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min to take it, the cast rest have decided and here we go..

From photos above, there is Lee Tae Sung (left) will play Kim Hyun Joong’s love rival for a sloppy girl played by Jung So Min. Lee’s character named Jung Gu is based on the manga’s Kinnosuke. Jung Hye Young (right) which played Iljimae’s mother in ‘Return of Iljimae’, plays Seung Jo’s mother who wants to match her son Seung Jo (played by Kim Hyun Joong) to Ha Ni (Jung So Min).

The following pictures are the cast rest who will join the project. I’ll introduce them one by one with their own roles. First, there is comic actor Kang Nam Gil of ‘Goong’ and ‘Who Are You?’, who plays Ha Ni’s father. Then, there is CF actor Oh Kyung Soo, who portrays Seung Jo’s father. And the last in the first row is Choi Won Hong who takes the role of Seung Jo’s younger brother, who likes him very much.

In the second row, there are Jang Ah Young (left) of ‘My Fair lady’ and Hong Yoon Hwa (right). Jang is a girl who likes Seung Jo secretly and is jealous to Ha Ni because of Ha Ni’s singele-minded devotion toward Seung Jo. Menwhile, Hong takes the role of Ha Ni’s classmate.

The first photo of the last row is Yoon Seung Ha who plays Ha Ni’s best friend. She is a boyish and quirky type who’s constantly at the foot of the class and has no intention in studies, preferring to dream of becoming a manhwa writer. In the middle, there is Hwang Hyo Eun, who has played many comic roles in dramas including ‘Oh! My Lady’, ‘Assorted Gems’, and ‘Queen of Housewives’. She portrays Ha Ni’s homeroom teacher. The last is Kang Doo of ‘Goong S’, who plays Seung Jo’s homeromm teacher.

Actually, Lee Shi Young of ‘Birth of the Rich’ has been recently rumoured to join the cast as a haughty girl who plays the vice president of the university’s tennis club, but the casting has been finalized.
